“Consciously or unconsciously, leaders put in place organizational structures, practices, and cultures that make sense to them, that correspond to their way of dealing with the world.
The general rule seems to be that the level of consciousness of an organization cannot exceed the level of consciousness of its leader.”
― Frederic Laloux ―
Our team is comprised of genuinely gifted minds and open hearts
This means: shifting organizational architecture, culture and social dynamics towards rapidly adaptive, highly productive and internally motivated distributed and autonomous clusters of teams made up of self reflective and constantly evolving individuals, collectively driven by; and united around; a meaningful purpose and values that serve and contribute to the wellbeing of the World in powerfully impactful ways. Such organizations re-invent leadership, management, success indicators, concepts of value, ownership, power, conflict, wealth, security and responsibility and outperform preexisting models while revolutionising whole industries and markets. They cultivate conscious and humane work environments and are multi-stakeholder oriented and steered. They are in tune with the technological and generational shift at the workplace and may be acting locally but are thinking globally.
I offer customised programs that take organizations and people from where they are, right now, through an evolutionary process into this new paradigm.
Together with you, we will determine the speed, depth and length of this transformation that most serves your particular needs and context.
This may include:
Assessment of the organization
Training programs
Structural design or redesign
Leadership training and Possibility Coaching
Conflict transformation
Community building
Strategy formulation
I work simultaneously on 4 dimensions: cultural, structural, social dynamics and individual empowerment using a tool-belt of instruments and models (see below) and in collaboration with colleagues from Arise bringing in key skills and insights for your needs and context.
Clients from the private and public sectors and civil society are equally welcomed, with prevalence those with an appetite for change, deeply held values and aiming to have a healthy impact in the World.

I am interested in an evolutionary perspective that cultivates:
Self-knowledge and the continuous evolution of Being (who am I? 'Higher Self') - human development
Relationship with the 'other' in continuous co-evolution (who are we? 'Higher' WE ') - leadership, collaboration and participation
The transformative action of the world towards greater complexity, including and transcending more and more perspectives - effectuation, entrepreneurship
In the evolutionary purpose I support and for an 'evolutionary transformative action' there are two practices from which 'the world that my heart knows is possible to exist' emerges, and a map that helps me navigate the territory of the action of transforming myself and the world around me (leadership):
meditation practice: individual context ('me') - human development
dialogue practice: collective/ team/ organization/ system ('we') - leadership, collaboration and participation
integral map (integral theory)
Human Development
Perhaps the greatest blessing my children and parents gave me was human development, my desire to be a better person. In 2004 I had a big 'quiebre' in my life, my Safira's peers asked me to leave. There began a journey inward, to know who I am, a call to look at 'all' me, light or dark, love or hate, fear and hope. To conceive myself as multiple (e.g. intelligences, personality, parts, sensory), at the same time one with the universe, with nature, with humanity. It could talk about body, consciousness, emotions, relationships, sexuality, parenting and so many other topics; For now I will choose food, meditation, nature and shadow work.
Meditation
Meditation entered my life in 2013 with my first retreat; It was passion at first sight: I sit for meditation and i stay in flow. Since then I have tried various practices, from Mindfulness (cultivating awareness), Heartfulness (cultivating surrender), No Object (cultivating non-duality). My meditation practice is daily (1 hour) with journaling. I make 1-2 retreats annually, one of them 7 or more days.
Food/ Nutrition
One of my greatest pleasures is eating (and drinking); I like to discover new flavors; I like to eat to nourish myself, physically, emotionally, intellectually, energetically and spiritually. Today I follow a organic diet, 100% plant-based, without sugar, without alcohol, with conscious use of soy, gluten and flour.
Shadow work
Who I am, I don't know I am. Make conscious all that I am, light and dark; what I project on others, good , such as my admiration for Christ, M.L. King, Mother Teresa, Buddha, Gandhi, Aristides, among others; what I project f bad, like my child traumas, my relationship wounds, my injured male. Today I do regular shadow work and try to be aware of the manifestations of my subconscious, learning to tame my Gremelin and use it in 'high drama' as referred in Possibility Management.
Nature
Recognizing myself as nature, part and all, 'made of humus, earth' was one of my greatest achievements. Feel the pain of the forest, the tree, the animals, the Planet Earth, the life around me. I live today underground, in a house that enters the 3rd floor. I was born in the middle of the Atlantic surrounded by stunning nature. Farmer's grandson. I am all earth. I feel the seasons change in me, I feel the call of the trees, the melody of the birds, and I love to walk barefoot in the woods, on the beach, in the water.

Dialogue
Conversation has always been a mystery and a pleasure to me. In 2009 I discovered 'dialogue' and the passion was immediate. Otto Scharmer, dialogue scholar, professor at MIT, author of Theory U and founder of the Presencing Institute says that 'Dialogue is to a group / team what mindfulness is to the individual'. Mindfulness is what allows the individual to be aware of who he is in every moment and to act consciously. Dialogue is what allows a group / team to take conscious action, embrace the unknown, resolve conflicts, create new meanings, new dreams. Know thenself, see thenself in the mirror. It's a theory, it's a method (or a set of them), it's a practice. It is a way of being in life. It is a conversation with center, without sides. ‘The art of thinking together ', as refered by W. Isaacs. For me, dialogue is a lifestyle that I want to cultivate every day.

Leadership
It enchants me the way we influence each other, the way we sometimes follow and other times we are followed; the way we welcome other's ideas and how we sow ideas in others, how our behaviors catch on and tend to form new action patterns as Minztberg alerts. Over the past 10 years, I have discovered several leadership concepts that inquiry me and open new perspectives:
Dialogic Leadership
Relational Leadership
Servant Leadership
Contemplative Leadership
Embodiment Leadership
Resonant Leadership
Participative Leadership
Collaborative Leadership
Ethic Leadership
Authentic Leadership
Effectuation/ Entrepreneurial Leadership
Creative Leadership
Sustainable Leadership

Integral Theory
Around 2007, a friend's mother sent me a little book, saying 'Marco will like this book': it was 'Ken Wilber's theory of everything'; it was love at first sight; a meta-theory that helped me see the world, bigger than I thought it was, and as big as I felt it was. I know that Integral Theory is a map, like all other maps. Since coming to this map I have cultivated in myself the prospect of gathering, integrating more and more, increasingly having an integral view of Life and Human Being. I am very curious about what post integral means. Some interests are:
Grow up (vertical grow)

MENTOR & ADVISOR
As advisor, I have been collaborating with small and big, local and global organizations. Focused in manifesting all the potential, my close to heart subjects are: organizational culture transformation, branding – communication, stretching potential, sustainability and climate change challenges, future sensing, collective creational capacitation and “teal”-ing.
NETWORK ENTREPRENEUR
I am an entrepreneur for more than 15 years. Since 2010 I moved to eco-social entrepreneurship, igniting, connecting and cross-pollinating projects, organisations, countries.
I do have a clear criteria on selecting projects and organisations that I work with.
The evolutionary dimension is a must-have-present in all the activities that I engage.

His present journey is dedicated precisely to this adventure, focusing in particular on how to change the present dynamics of society, their systemic frames and institutions, to ensure a critical, determined contribution to our planetary challenges. Making Organizations beautiful spaces for profound humanity and positive impact.
Fascinated with the arts of gathering, dialog, transformation, systemic thinking, and search for purpose and meaning.
